Electrochemical study of modified glassy carbon electrode with polyaniline nanoparticles using cyclic voltammetry

ABSTRACT. The mechanical attachment method was used to modify the glass carbon electrode (GCE) with polyaniline nanoparticles (PANI NPs) produce a new nanosensor (PAN NPs/GCE). Electrochemical properties studied by nano working using cyclic voltammetric (CV) technique develop oxidation – reduction reaction. K4[Fe(CN)6] solution is one of standard solutions for CV titration redox peak current FeII/FeIII in KCl as electrolyte, which can be study different concentrations, scan rates, pH, diffusion coefficient (Df) and reliability stability PAN NPs/GCE modified electrode. results PANI have two peaks at 400 200 mV oxidation-reduction FeII/FeIII, respectively. ratio value found Ipa/Ipc ≈ 1 separation ∆Epa-pc = mV. From these results, acts an irreversible heterogeneous Other electrochemical sensor low detection limit K4[Fe(CN)6]. In addition highly enhancement acidic it obtained good nanomaterial on electrode.
